We are working internally to understand what customer feedback means for our current processes. The Electricity Authority replaced the Electricity Commission on 1 November 2010, as one of a number of changes made under the Electricity Industry Act 2010. Electricity Sold by Connected Retailers Under Section 88 of the Electricity Industry Act 2010, Electricity Distribution Companies are required to disclose the quantity of electricity sold per year to connected retailers. MainPower’s key focus is to provide a safe and reliable system of electricity distribution to customers in the North Canterbury and Kaikoura region.
Customer feedback is important to us to ensure we meet our customer’s needs and are able to provide an efficient and effective service. AS NZS ISO Quality Management Systems Certification to this international standard demonstrates our commitment to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and legal requirements. MainPower has installed a new telephone system in our premises at Southbrook Business Park, which will improve our service to customers by being able to manage a greater number of calls during major power outage events and the ability to update customers sooner with information on power system faults via the telephone. Purpose of the Trust The purpose of the MainPower Trust is to manage the shareholding of MainPower New Zealand Limited and other assets, for the benefit of qualifying customers.
Judith was appointed to the Board of MainPower in December 2005 and is a member of the Board's Remuneration Committee. Tony has extensive experience in senior operational and corporate management roles, as an independent consultant and over 10 years as a company director. MainPower New Zealand Limited, formerly the North Canterbury Electric Power Board, has been distributing electricity to the region for nearly 100 years. As you progress through the ranks towards becoming a Line Mechanic it requires a lot of formal training both skills based as well as learning from others. MainPower’s Controllers are the main communication line between staff and customers and the region’s power system. His team is responsible for organising the financial and accounting affairs of the company including the preparation and presentation of annual accounts and the provision of financial information and strategic advice to managers to assist with ongoing decision making. Sandra has been part of the Executive Leadership within MainPower since 2011, responsible for MainPower’s Human Resources team that delivers an employment environment with adequate people resource and capability to achieve the company’s business goals.
Mark joined MainPower in 2016, bringing with him over 15 years of experience managing commercial, infrastructure, operations and project delivery teams within high risk environments. Before this he held a number of engineering and management roles across New Zealand
